Photo Booth was a Hit! A MUST HAVE for your Wedding Reception

It’s 1:00 AM on a Saturday morning, now five months since I said “I DO” to the love of my life, and I find myself smiling and reminiscing as I look through the Photo Booth Album of fun and crazy pictures of my friends and family. The photo booth was such a tremendous hit that I had to write a blog. Every Lagos Bride-to-be needs to have a photo booth at her reception!

As a bride trying to plan a unique and an unforgettable reception experience, I decided to hire PhotoGenic Photo Booth as a part of my reception festivities. We wanted the option that allowed our guests multiple opportunities to create a memorable experience so we chose the “Magical” Package, which came with unlimited photos souvenirs, iPad Facebook sharing stations and a customized guestbook album to enjoy later. Aside from all the extra perks that came with the package, the amount of rave reviews and kudos that we received from friends and family made it priceless. Getting a photo booth was hands down the best idea that we had for our wedding reception!

All of our guests absolutely loved the photo booth. I hired a regular photographer as well, but the photo booth was a treat for my guests. I had heard about photo booths from my friends in the US and the UK, but here in Nigeria, it is nothing like we had experienced before. It quickly stole the show, and guests were clamoring to experience PhotoGenic. I giggle as I remember, at one point the MC had to stop the photo booth sessions so guests could watch us cut our cake.

Some of our guests even went multiple times because it was so much fun! It allowed my guests to be creative, silly and capture memorable moments. They got to feel like a celebrity (as if they were on a red carpet) and in the process allowed us to preserve these memories and cherish them for years to come. The best part for us: receiving a photo guest book that is unlike any other – a customized scrapbook of pictures of my favorite people with well wishes for our future, a keep sake for life.

I loved the fact that the photo souvenirs were personalized with our names and wedding color (even our backdrop was custom made!) It allowed us to capture the fun my guests were having and was such wonderful way to provide them with instant, personalize souvenirs so that they could remember the day as well. The photos were of high quality, printed within seconds and my guests were able to share them immediately through iPad sharing stations via FaceBook, Twitter and Email.

We knew PhotoGenic Photo Booth would be a fun, surprise treat, but wow! The PhotoGenic Photo booth crew stayed through the entire reception. They were very professional, attentive and on time. I just wish we had more occasions to use you! I love all the pictures, some made me smile, some made me chuckle, many of the well wishes warmed my hearts, but all of them became a vital part in documenting our reception! Also, the “Thank You” emails PhotoGenic sent to our guests after the wedding was a nice touch.
